WBFSH: 4 approved SBS stallions in the Top 10

Tremendous news now that the International Selection Show 2017 comes closer and closer

The WBFSH ranking 2016, listing the best stallions for stud is always breaking news.

And the division “jumping” simply confirms our feeling of the past last months: the EXCELLENT health of the SBS breeding community thanks to their stallions.

Because – yes of course – four of these stallions are joining the famous Top 10: KANNAN (Voltaire/Nimmerdor), KASHMIR VAN SCHUTTERSHOF (Nabab de Rêve/Ténor Manciais – breeder: W. Van Impe in B-9550 Herzele), BALOUBET DU ROUET (Galoubet A/Starter) and CARDENTO (Capitol I/Lord). This becomes even better when we are adding to this list NABAB DE REVE (Quidam de Revel/Artichaut), TOULON (Heartbreaker/Jokinal de Bornival) and VIGO D’ARSOUILLES (Nabab de Rêve/Fleury du Manoir). Meaning that we have no less than seven representatives in the Top 25, or simply more than ¼ of the “fine fleur” in genetics on world level.

What a satisfaction for our stallion approval jury, to see once again that NABAB DE REVE is still present on top of the rankings, despite the fact the breeding world lost him a few months ago. He is still present through his two sons: KASHMIR VAN SCHUTTERSHOF and VIGO D’ARSOUILLES, both being part of the best 25 stallions of the world.
